85th Remembrance of D-Day

The Atlantic Watch Pipes & Drums of Red Bank, NJ has been given the honor to perform at multiple locations in France for the eighty-fifth Remembrance of D-Day.

This extraordinary invitation is both a privilege and a profound responsibility. As representatives of both their local community and the rich tradition of pipe and drum music, the members of Atlantic Watch will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with participants from around the world to honor the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of the Allied forces who landed on the beaches of Normandy in 1944.

Their participation underscores the enduring power of music to bridge generations and nations. The evocative sound of the pipes and drums—an echo of both military tradition and solemn remembrance—will resonate across historic sites, providing a moving tribute to the heroes of D-Day and all those who fought for freedom during World War II.

For the members of Atlantic Watch, performing at the D-Day Remembrance is not only an opportunity to share their music on an international stage but also to connect personally with the history they help commemorate. Marching through the villages and along the beaches of Normandy, the band will follow in the footsteps of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, bringing the spirit of Red Bank, New Jersey, to a global gathering devoted to memory and gratitude.

To be selected for such a prestigious role reflects the dedication, excellence, and heartfelt commitment of Atlantic Watch. Their presence at the 85th Remembrance ceremonies is a testament to the universal language of music and the unbreakable bonds of remembrance.
