Netflix and Fort Monmouth held a Veterans Week ceremony to formally rededicate 117 U.S. Army Signal Corps memorials honoring the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Second World War. The band took part.
On 14 November 2025 all 117 relocated monuments were rededicated in Cowan Park, at 8 Russell Avenue and Oceanport Avenue, Oceanport, New Jersey.
The Avenue of Memories was first dedicated on 6 April 1949, with a memorial and a tree planted in memory of Major Edmund P. Karr. General Order 22 designated the road Memorial Drive three days later, and General Order 31 renamed it the Avenue of Memories that December. Markers and trees were added over the following decades, the last two in 1977, and the Fort Monmouth community rededicated the avenue on Memorial Day 1999.
Alongside the soldiers individually memorialized, the avenue remembers the service and sacrifice of every Signal Corps soldier killed in the Second World War.
